Lawn Care in Eatonville
We mow, edge and trim your lawn on a schedule that follows how your grass actually grows. Before the first visit you get a written quote that lists what each visit covers, how often we come and what it costs, so nothing gets added later.

Mowing that fits the grass you have
Most lawns around your home are St. Augustinegrass, with Bahia and Zoysia mixed in on some properties. Each one has a height where it stays thick enough to shade out weeds and hold moisture in sandy soil. Cut St. Augustine below about 3.5 inches and the runners get exposed, the turf thins, and chinch bugs and weeds move into the gaps. We set the deck for your grass and keep it there.
Lawn care with us means a set routine: mowing, edging along concrete, string trimming around beds and fences, and clearing clippings off hard surfaces. We put that routine in writing during the walkthrough, including visit frequency for the growing season and the cooler months. If we see something outside that scope, we tell you and price it separately before anything changes.

What every visit includes
- 01
Mowing at the correct height
We cut at the height your grass type needs and never remove more than about a third of the blade in one pass. Scalping stresses the turf and opens it to weeds.
- 02
Sharpened blades
Dull blades tear grass tips, which then brown and invite fungus. We sharpen on a regular cycle so the cut is clean.
- 03
Edging and trimming
Hard edges along driveways, walks and curbs, plus string trimming around beds, trees, fences and AC pads. We keep the trimmer line off tree trunks, since bark wounds are a common way young trees decline.
- 04
Clippings handled
Clippings are mulched back into the lawn where they return nutrients, and blown off driveways, walks and the street so they stay out of storm drains.
- 05
Eyes on lawn health
While we work, we watch for chinch bug patches, large patch fungus, dollarweed and dry spots from sprinkler problems. We tell you what we saw and what it would take to fix it.
Questions about Lawn Care?
Call(407) 537-4177Signs your lawn needs a better routine
Yellow, straw-colored patches in full sun
Dry, spreading patches near driveways and sidewalks in hot weather often point to chinch bugs. Lawns cut too short are hit hardest.
Brown rings in cooler, wet months
Circular patches with an orange edge are usually large patch fungus. Mowing with dull blades and watering at night make it worse.
Dollarweed taking over
Its round leaves thrive in soil that stays wet. It usually means the sprinklers run too long or too often, which is a job for our irrigation service.
Ragged, frayed tips
Grass that looks whitish or shredded a day after mowing was cut with a dull blade.
Overgrowth between visits
In the summer rainy season St. Augustine can put on serious growth in a week. If your current schedule cannot keep up, the turf gets scalped every time it is finally cut.
How we start your lawn care
- 1
You call and we set a time
We schedule a free walkthrough at your home at a time that works for you.
- 2
Walkthrough and measurements
We walk the front, back and side yards, note grass type, gates, slopes and obstacles, and check for pest, fungus or sprinkler issues.
- 3
Scope and price in writing
You get a written quote listing the visit frequency by season, what each visit includes and the price. Anything optional, like a first heavy cut on an overgrown lawn, is its own line.
- 4
First visit
We bring the lawn to its correct height, gradually if it is overgrown, then edge, trim and clean up.
- 5
Regular schedule
We come on the agreed schedule and let you know about anything we spot that needs attention.
What sets the price of lawn care
Lawn care is priced per visit, based on how long the property takes to mow and finish well. We spell out each of these factors on paper before the first visit. The price you agree to is the price you pay unless you approve a change.
- Turf area and layout
- Square footage matters, but so do islands, beds, play sets and narrow strips that slow the mower and add trimming.
- Visit frequency
- Weekly visits in the peak growing months and less frequent visits in winter change the total cost over a year.
- Access and slopes
- Narrow gates, steep retention-pond banks and fenced side yards may need smaller equipment or more hand work.
- Starting condition
- A lawn that has gone weeks without mowing needs extra passes to bring it down safely. That first cut is priced as its own line.
Lawn care questions
How often should my lawn be mowed?
During the warm, rainy months most St. Augustine lawns need weekly mowing to avoid cutting off too much at once. In the cooler months growth slows and every other week is often enough. We write both schedules into the plan you approve.
Do you bag the clippings?
Usually not. Mulched clippings break down quickly and return nitrogen to the soil. We bag when clippings are heavy after a missed week or when you ask for it.
Can you fix the brown patches in my yard?
First we figure out the cause, whether it is chinch bugs, fungus, a broken sprinkler head or shade. We explain what we found and what the fix involves. Badly damaged areas sometimes need new turf, which our sod installation service handles.
What if a mower throws a rock toward my car or windows?
We point discharge chutes away from cars, windows and pool screens, and slow the trimmer near glass. Accidents are rare, and we are fully insured for the work we do at your home.
How long have you been doing this?
We are a family-owned company and have been in business since 2018, caring for lawns in Eatonville and nearby towns like Maitland and Winter Park.
Get your lawn on the right schedule
We will look at your grass type, edges, slopes and sprinkler coverage, then put the visit schedule and per-visit price on paper. There is no charge for coming out.
